Requirements
- BS / BA college degree or relevant experience.
- AI-first is your default operating mode.
- Genuine passion for building internal platforms where agents are first-class tenants.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with modern web technology such as React, Node.js, Tailwind.css, and frameworks like Next.js and Remix.
- Solid grasp of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Extensive experience designing APIs.
- Deep understanding of monorepo management, including design and architectural patterns for scale.
- Ability to navigate trade-offs between Developer Experience (DX) and platform-native technologies.
- Commitment to establishing paved paths and self-service deployment capabilities.
- Effective cross-team collaboration with senior leaders to architect secure, stable, and high-quality solutions.
- Commitment to cultivating an inclusive team culture and mentoring other engineers.
Responsibilities
- Drive engineering innovation across the entire company.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Spearhead research initiatives to explore new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Guide the approach and execution of a particular team or group of teams.
- Dig deep into arbitrarily complex and critical problems and find an appropriate path forward until resolution.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements to architect, design and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct thorough architectural reviews to help guide and shape Webflow’s technology stack.
- Be a model for engineering innovation in the industry working with partners, customers, and investors.
- Mentor and coach other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
