Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in customer service, mediation, emergency services, or Trust & Safety operations.
- Experience in a contact center environment.
- Ability to work weekend days, public holidays, and early morning/evening shifts.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with sensitive and potentially traumatic materials.
- Strong written and verbal English communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Basic computer literacy, including Apple/Mac OS and Google Suite.
- Ability to organize a high volume of work and multitask.
- Proactive, flexible, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Hospitality industry experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers across multiple channels including livechat, messaging, and phone.
- Manage complex cases from end-to-end according to established workflows.
- Recognize and assess threatening or risky behaviors.
- Provide high-level service to the community while maintaining quality standards.
- Document ways of working and best practices for the team.
- Provide functional expertise to less experienced team members.
