Requirements
- CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification.
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle ownership.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 and/or ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Demonstrated experience reconciling high-volume data across multiple systems.
- Proven track record of managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines independently.
- Experience using blockchain explorers (e.g., Etherscan, Solscan, Mintscan).
- Hands-on experience with crypto accounting (token-denominated revenue, on-chain flows) is highly preferred.
- Experience in fintech, SaaS, or digital asset-native organizations is a plus.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems and crypto subledger platforms like Bitwave, Koinly, or Cryptio.
- Understanding of AI-assisted accounting or close automation workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own key digital assets month-end close activities across multiple Figment entities, including crypto subledger reconciliations, wallet reconciliations, and management reporting.
- Investigate on-chain transactions to ensure accurate measurement, classification, and recognition per accounting standards.
- Drive AI-assisted automation for journal entry preparation, posting, and reconciliation workflows.
- Build and maintain granular management reporting to provide visibility into digital asset activity and trends.
- Partner with Treasury, FP&A, Protocol, Data Science, and Risk teams to onboard new protocols and resolve pipeline discrepancies.
- Prepare accounting memos and audit-ready documentation to support financial statements and tax audits.
- Support new product launches, accounts receivable, and entity-level reporting projects.
