Requirements
- Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in New York.
- Ability to support a caseload of patients of all ages, backgrounds, and varying acuity levels.
- Commitment to 30 hours a week of availability for direct patient care.
- Minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2pm (or 3pm in Mountain Standard Time).
- Availability to work until 8pm at least two evenings per week.
- Proficiency in delivering care in a virtual/telehealth setting.
- Enthusiastic and strong team player.
- Passion for evidence-based eating disorder treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic setting.
- Implement treatment modalities including family-based treatment (FBT) and enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E).
- Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients with 20-26 hours of direct care.
- Assess and diagnose mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team including physicians, dietitians, and mentors.
- Utilize between-session messaging and Equip’s EMR for communication.
- Participate in treatment team meetings, supervision, and departmental training.
- Maintain licensure in home state and obtain additional state licenses as requested.
