Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in Massachusetts.
  • Ability to support a caseload of patients of all ages, backgrounds, and varying degrees of acuity.
  • Ability to provide 30 hours a week of availability for direct patient care.
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 pm (or 3 pm in MST) throughout the week.
  • Ability to commit to working until 8pm two evenings per week.
  • Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting.
  • Passion for evidence-based care and eating disorder treatment.
  • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Experience in Family-Based Treatment or eating disorder treatment is preferred.
  • Experience with evidence-based treatment, intensive treatment settings, or trauma and suicidal ideation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic setting.
  • Implement family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), and cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID.
  • Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients, with 20-26 hours of direct care.
  • Assess and diagnose mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, dietitians, and mentors.
  • Utilize between-session messaging and the company EMR to support patients and communicate with the care team.
  • Engage in treatment team meetings, supervision, and department meetings.
  • Maintain licensure in home state and obtain additional state licenses as requested.
