Requirements
- Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven in-house experience working inside a Medicare Advantage health plan.
- Strong subject matter expertise in Medicare Advantage.
- Working command of STARS, risk adjustment, and performance management.
- Understanding of how operational functions impact plan revenue and benefit design.
- Demonstrated ability to bridge plan strategy and operations.
- Strong consulting aptitude and experience leading dynamic project portfolios.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with care management or SNP space preferred.
- Experience at a regional or smaller health plan preferred.
- MBA, MPH, MPA, or MPP preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to clients and internal teams through the engagement lifecycle.
- Manage multiple projects, project teams, deliverables, and timelines.
- Mentor and support the professional development of junior team members.
- Lead go-to-market and business strategy work including scenario and strategic planning for Medicare Advantage.
- Translate coverage and strategic decisions into operational paths across STARS, risk adjustment, and claims functions.
- Lead technical assistance and analyses regarding Medicare and Medicaid policy and organizational performance.
- Drive business development through proposal writing, project scoping, and client relationship management.
