Requirements
- Proven experience owning a consumer-facing product from ambiguity to shipped outcome.
- Strong visual and interaction design skills with a clear, authored point of view.
- Experience designing habit-forming experiences using intrinsic motivation and progress framing, avoiding manipulative loops.
- Ability to conduct and translate user research into actionable design decisions.
- Comfort working in ambiguity, making defensible calls with incomplete information, and course-correcting based on new data.
- Excellent written communication skills for defending design trade-offs.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and QA.
- Experience shipping clinician-facing tools or working with EMR systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the companion app end-to-end, including flows, surfaces, interaction patterns, and visual systems.
- Design daily engagement loops, including onboarding flows, activation funnels, and re-engagement mechanics.
- Conduct user research to understand member needs and validate design decisions.
- Build and maintain a scalable design system.
- Partner with clinicians and care coordinators to ensure consumer-side design decisions improve care team workflows.
- Make and document complex trade-offs between member needs, clinician workload, and business economics.
