Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering with a track record of owning quality frameworks.
- Hands-on experience building CI/CD quality gates across unit, service, integration, and end-to-end levels.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted test tooling, LLM-driven test generation, or agentic QA pipelines.
- Strong understanding of distributed, event-driven microservices architectures.
- Experience defining and tracking measurable quality metrics like defect escape rates.
- Experience working in regulated fintech, payments, or banking environments.
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation and standards.
- Deep understanding of mobile-first product delivery and associated quality risks.
- Ability to influence teams through tooling and frameworks without direct reporting hierarchy.
- Access to a dedicated workspace and a reliable, high-speed internet connection.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive quality framework standards including coverage baselines for unit, service, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Exercise pre-release veto authority using automated tooling to enforce quality gates.
- Design and implement agentic QA pipelines and AI-assisted test generation strategies.
- Enable Stream Aligned Teams (SATs) through training, documentation, and tooling to own their own quality.
- Partner with the Platform Engineering team on test environment strategy and test data management.
- Report on quality metrics such as defect escape rates, coverage trends, and AI tooling adoption.
- Integrate security testing tools like SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning into the quality gate.
