Requirements
- 7+ years of dedicated QA experience with a focus on web automation engineering.
- 2+ years of recent, intensive framework-building experience with Cypress.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript for writing automation code.
- Ability to read, navigate, and troubleshoot backend services written in Python or Go.
- Proven experience building automated quality gates in modern CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions or GitLab.
- Strong analytical skills for root-cause analysis of test failures.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate testing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Independently architect, scale, and own the E2E test strategy for complex web applications.
- Build, maintain, and optimize robust automation frameworks utilizing Cypress and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Automate and embed production smoke tests and regression suites directly into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform root-cause analysis on E2E failures, flaky tests, and pipeline bottlenecks.
- Lead testing initiatives like bug bashes and refine test case tracking workflows.
- Author clear, actionable technical documentation.
