Requirements
- Hands-on technical depth with the ability to write code and review architecture.
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams through meaningful process or tooling transitions.
- Real-world fluency and productive experience with AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, giving constructive feedback, and navigating team dynamics.
- Deep experience with cloud-native, serverless architectures.
- Proven track record of building internal developer tooling and enhancing developer experience.
- Ability to build and foster a culture of customer empathy and technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering team, conducting 1:1s, performance management, hiring, and fostering a culture of ownership and technical craftsmanship.
- Design and evolve engineering processes, tooling, and quality standards to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Champion AI-assisted development by integrating these tools into existing engineering workflows.
- Drive the end-to-end flow of work from intent to production, working with product leadership to maintain delivery velocity.
- Invest in and build engineering infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and developer experience tools.
