Requirements
- Native or fluent Dutch language skills (both spoken and written)
- Valid EU passport (mandatory)
- A good working knowledge of English for internal communication and training purposes
- Previous experience in customer service, travel support, or a related field is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with online travel platforms, booking systems, or the broader travel industry
- Excellent communication skills and a positive customer-first attitude
- Strong computer literacy and the ability to navigate multiple digital platforms simultaneously
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, empathetic customer support to Dutch-speaking Orbitz users via phone, email, and live chat, assisting with travel bookings, modifications, and cancellations
- Guide customers through the full range of Orbitz travel products and services, including flights, hotel reservations, car rentals, and holiday packages
- Resolve customer complaints and travel disruptions in a professional, timely, and solution-focused manner, ensuring complete customer satisfaction
- Assist travellers with itinerary changes, rebooking requests, and refund processes in line with company policies and travel industry regulations
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and case resolutions using internal CRM systems
- Stay up to date with Orbitz's evolving travel product portfolio, promotions, and industry updates in order to offer informed and relevant advice
- Collaborate with internal teams and escalate complex travel-related issues to the appropriate departments when necessary
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and team performance targets, contributing to a high-standard customer experience within the travel industry
