Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in catalog operations, PIM, product data management, eCommerce operations, or related fields.
- Proven experience working with large, messy, multi-source product datasets.
- Strong understanding of product taxonomy, categorization, attributes, and data quality standards.
- Proven ability to build operational processes, workflows, SOPs, QA systems, and team playbooks.
- Advanced comfort using AI tools for productivity, workflow automation, and content enrichment.
- Hands-on experience with PIM systems, spreadsheets, databases, and automation tools.
- Strong project management and process design skills.
- Ability to manage a small team while remaining hands-on.
- Strong customer communication skills regarding complex data and implementation topics.
- Background in construction supplies or related industry domain knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end catalog operations process for new and existing customers.
- Build scalable workflows for product data intake, cleanup, enrichment, mapping, categorization, QA, and maintenance.
- Own TOOLBX’s PIM operating strategy and define standards for product taxonomy, attributes, and relationships.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to improve PIM tooling, data models, and internal workflows.
- Use AI tools to automate product enrichment, tagging, normalization, and duplicate detection.
- Create data quality standards and reporting to track catalog readiness and team productivity.
- Lead or support dealer-facing catalog walkthroughs and explain data requirements during onboarding.
- Manage, develop, and coach a small catalog operations team.
