Requirements
- Proven experience operating at a lead level with full accountability for technical decisions and project outcomes.
- Deep, daily experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex for production-level development.
- Strong product sense and ability to act as a cross-functional partner to PMs and designers.
- Ability to write clear documentation for architectural and data-model decisions.
- Experience shipping end-to-end features in a live marketplace environment.
- Proficiency in at least one of the primary stacks: PHP/Laravel (Backend) or TypeScript/React/React Native (Frontend).
- Familiarity with data tools (Redshift, dbt, Segment, Airflow) and infrastructure (AWS, Datadog, Sentry).
- Focus on creating reusable artifacts such as agent workflows, evals, and runbooks.
- Demonstrated ability to own outcomes and move specific business metrics.
Responsibilities
- Define technical approaches, including architecture, data modeling, integration strategies, and rollout plans.
- Oversee implementation quality, using prompts, guardrails, and evals to ensure AI-authored code meets production standards.
- Partner daily with product managers and designers to define scope, UX decisions, and engineering tradeoffs.
- Take ownership of initiative-specific KPIs and present post-launch results to measure success.
- Maintain a high bar for production correctness, performance, and security across the customer/pro platform.
- Collaborate with engineering peers to maintain and improve a shared codebase.
