Requirements
- 7+ years of software sales experience, specifically selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions.
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience selling to senior-level buying influencers such as VP-IT, CIOs, and CISOs.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and accelerate sales momentum through virtual networking.
- Demonstrated ability to overcome customer objections and negotiate complex deals.
- Demonstrated success in a fast-growth environment, working both independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Understanding of the data management market, competitors, and industry trends preferred.
Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed annual territory revenue goals through acquisition of new customers and expansion within the existing customer base.
- Understand and position CrashPlan's product value proposition and ROI to prospects based on specific business needs.
- Identify, qualify, and nurture prospects to sustain a strong sales pipeline through meetings, campaigns, and marketing activities.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key channel partners.
- Manage prospect information and sales forecasting using tools like Salesforce and LinkedIn Navigator.
- Lead the solution selling process in the assigned territory, partnering with Systems Engineering for product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product management, and sales peers.
