Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology, or a related field (required).
- Advanced degree in a related field (preferred).
- Professional registration such as P.E. or P.G. (required).
- At least 10 years of experience in energy infrastructure siting, permitting, and licensing (required).
- Experience managing permitting, planning, and compliance for linear energy infrastructure projects (required).
- Experience managing project delivery, financial controls, risk management, and contracts (required).
- Experience with FERC certification and the NEPA process (required).
- Experience with Federal permitting programs including the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, USACE 404, and Section 7/10 consultations (required).
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (required).
- OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refresher (preferred).
- Experience with erosion and sediment control or wetlands delineation (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Perform business development, project management, and technical leadership for air quality projects including emissions quantification, carbon programs, and impact assessments.
- Manage air quality matters regarding regulatory analyses driven by the Clean Air Act, state regulations, and GHG reporting programs.
- Provide consulting services for air permitting including NSR, PSD, Title V, GHG, and EPCRA.
- Manage projects and staff through technical oversight, risk management, and mentorship.
- Collaborate with staff across North America to support company culture and business growth.
- Participate in industry events, client meetings, and professional organizations to maintain marketplace visibility.
- Recruit and train additional staff members.
