Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in a software development organization.
- Significant experience with quality management practices.
- Proficiency in Ruby and Go codebases is preferred.
- Significant experience with agentic software development workflows, skill development, and prompt engineering.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to data-driven decision making and KPI reporting.
- Experience leading transformational projects in high-complexity or regulated environments.
- Ability to build consensus across diverse product development teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the technical approach for modernizing software quality across the engineering organization.
- Assess current QA processes, test automation, and manual testing to develop a roadmap for maturity.
- Implement tooling and workflows for building quality into the agentic SDLC.
- Establish a long-term vision for quality management to reduce handoffs and improve development pod autonomy.
- Partner with cross-functional leadership to align quality management with business risk and regulatory needs.
- Design and implement risk-based automated quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor QA engineers, software engineers, and engineering leads on modern quality engineering practices.
