Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience leading initiatives, coalitions, or programs, ideally in the political realm, civic engagement, or community impact.
- Experience serving as an Executive Director or CEO of a mission-driven organization.
- Deep knowledge of the political, cultural, and social landscape in Texas and nationally.
- Experience working in or alongside government, community organizing, or civic engagement.
- Demonstrated ability building and scaling programs or initiatives from the ground up.
- Expertise in managing complex projects, including event planning, stakeholder coordination, and budget oversight.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills.
- Proven ability to bring diverse groups together to achieve common goals.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of taking initiatives from concept to execution.
- Dedicated people manager with experience in coaching and developing talent.
- Strategic and executional leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to scale national and local programs in Texas.
- Oversee civic programming to engage and mobilize citizens around Builders values and accountability.
- Build, grow, and lead a high-performing remote team of 12.
- Develop and execute a multi-year fundraising strategy, including donor relations and grant identification.
- Act as a public-facing spokesperson for Builders Texas, conducting media interviews and attending events.
- Collaborate with Builders Media to align campaigns and educational initiatives.
- Implement impact measurement frameworks to track program effectiveness and outcomes.
