Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Proven success managing external stakeholders in public accounting or client-facing environments.
- Strong knowledge of startup accounting practices.
- Full professional fluency in English (written & verbal).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive) and communication tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Meet).
- Experience integrating external applications with QuickBooks Online.
- Experience with tools such as Rippling, Brex, Bill.com, ClickUp, Gusto, or Ramp is highly desirable.
- Strong time management and independent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to clearly explain financial concepts to non-finance professionals.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting cycle for U.S.-based clients, including reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Serve as the main accounting point of contact for client stakeholders.
- Apply startup accounting principles to balance best practices with resource constraints.
- Make financial judgments in dynamic, less-structured environments while maintaining compliance.
- Integrate and optimize external applications with QuickBooks Online.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expense management, and vendor/client interactions.
