Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience in backend engineering, automation engineering, data engineering, or a related QA/data quality role
- B2+ English level
- Strong Python proficiency, including hands-on experience with data analytics frameworks such as Pandas
- Experience with distributed data transformation frameworks, specifically PySpark or Snowpark
- Strong command of SQL and data querying patterns across relational and analytical databases
- Proven ability to design and implement automated data validation, data integrity, and data quality checks at scale
- Solid understanding of data ingestion patterns, pipeline architecture, data transformation, and backend system design
- Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders, with the ability to provide strategic technical guidance
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated data validation and quality assurance frameworks for data ingestion pipelines
- Build and implement automated integrity checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of ingested data
- Identify gaps in existing data workflows and engineer scalable automation solutions to improve data quality, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support data analysis, validation logic, pipeline monitoring, and data integrity checks
- Transform and process large datasets using distributed data frameworks such as PySpark or Snowpark
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, client stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define quality standards and implement automated testing strategies
- Advise clients on automation, data engineering, and data integrity best practices, acting as a strategic partner in technical implementation decisions
