Requirements
- Experience managing freight within a Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Solid analytical skills with experience in reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace tools.
- Excellent multitasking ability across multiple platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.
- Flexibility with schedule, including potential overtime.
- Reliability and ability to plan workload coverage effectively.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Work independently to identify, investigate, and proactively solve carrier service disruptions.
- Manage LTL and TL transportation spend using ShipBob tools to identify lowest-cost carriers.
- Strengthen Freight key performance indicators by monitoring carrier and facility performance.
- Review open orders and optimize load plans based on pallet count, weight, and delivery dates.
- Book LTL, partial, and full truckload shipments across multiple business verticals.
- Address freight inquiries and escalations from internal client care teams and merchants.
- Track missed delivery and pick-up appointments and recover rolled shipments.
- Maintain freight team reports and comply with food safety and compliance regulations.
