Requirements
- 10+ years of leadership experience with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Proven experience as a manager-of-managers with an emphasis on building healthy, high-trust team culture.
- History of translating complex strategy into execution and scalable results.
- Strong stakeholder fluency across scientific, policy, and implementation audiences.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- High-integrity, self-aware, and collaborative decision-maker.
- Alignment with Blueprint's values of impact, agency, ownership, truth seeking, and excellence.
- Ability to work in a high-growth, high-ambiguity environment.
- Familiarity with biosecurity, public health, or pandemic preparedness is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coach 6–8 senior direct reports as a manager-of-managers.
- Build a high-trust, high-energy team culture that balances rigor with momentum.
- Own execution across programmatic work, including flagship initiatives like Project AIR.
- Make and own complex trade-off decisions and drive projects to completion.
- Lead communications strategy for funders, partners, policymakers, and the public.
- Steward the government affairs function and sustain policy momentum.
- Extend the Executive Director's capacity through external representation.
