Requirements
- Pragmatic, engineering-oriented SaaS security leadership experience.
- Deep expertise in at least one security discipline (Application/Product Security, Infrastructure Security, or Detection & Response).
- Proven experience with modern cloud and identity threat models, supply chain risk, and secure-by-default infrastructure.
- Strong background in AI-era security, including securing agentic systems and AI-enabled products.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change management and influence executive-level leadership.
- Experience managing diverse, high-performing engineering teams, including managers, tech leads, and senior individual contributors.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate technical risk to business stakeholders.
- Experience leading incident response and detection engineering programs end-to-end.
- Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Legal, and GTM.
Responsibilities
- Protect millions of customers and enterprise clients from API credential and data compromises.
- Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for security, specifically securing AI features and agentic workflows.
- Own and evolve the enterprise risk management program, driving mitigation and reporting to executive leadership.
- Act as Zapier's security voice for customer reviews, executive briefings, and GTM support.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to embed security and AI safety into the secure SDLC and AI-enabled product development.
- Lead a high-functioning Detection & Response program, including incident response and bug bounty management.
- Direct company-wide security initiatives, influencing policies and technical enforcement.
