Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business (Advanced degree strongly preferred).
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience.
- Deep and expert functional skills, industry knowledge, and experience.
- Proven experience overseeing multiple teams or functions.
- Expert managerial skills and ability to manage area or team leads.
- Ownership of short to mid-term execution of functional strategy and operational direction.
- High influence on department and organization with ability to lead systemwide adoption.
- Executive-level communication skills and capability to influence internal and external partners.
- Ability to operate with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior leadership for early childhood education strategy, quality practices, and initiatives that advance Y-USA organizational priorities.
- Translate national strategy and enterprise direction into clear, actionable frameworks, tools, and activation supports for local Ys and service delivery partners.
- Directly supervise and coach multiple Directors of Strategy and Quality Practices to ensure role clarity and accountability.
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture rooted in achievement and belonging.
- Analyze data, signals, and industry trends to inform continuous quality improvement and innovation.
- Strengthen alignment between Y-USA strategies, alliances, and enterprise shared services.
- Cultivate relationships with internal and external partners to advance innovation and mission-aligned outcomes.
