Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven experience leading high-stakes consulting engagements from discovery to production.
- Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Ruby, Scala, R, SQL, and Go.
- Experience building or integrating AI/ML-powered features into products or systems.
- Ability to leverage AI-assistive development tools for tasks like scaffolding, refactoring, and debugging.
- Experience using automated testing to inform design and debug code.
- Proficiency in Git, MacOS/Linux, and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience remediating architecture-level concerns like scalability, security, and performance.
- Strong communication and collaborative leadership skills.
- Experience with MLOps, Data Engineering (Databricks), DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Make immediate contributions to projects and build trust with clients.
- Lead architecture and software design discussions.
- Collaborate on systems involving the full ML lifecycle including data ingestion, model deployment, and performance monitoring.
- Manage high-level project roadmaps and maintain relationships with client technical leaders.
- Ensure team backlogs are healthy, prioritized, and estimated.
- Mentor colleagues and lead workshops internally or for clients.
- Lead or initiate formal feedback conversations via retrospectives.
