Requirements
- 5+ years of broad, hands-on experience across multiple security domains.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with production-quality coding skills.
- Track record of leading cross-domain security projects end-to-end.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Go, or C#).
- Ability to write production-quality code and perform rigorous security reviews.
- Proven track record of partnering across product, platform, and business functions.
- Capability to deliver holistic, scalable prevention across platform/cloud, applications, CI/CD, identity, and endpoints.
- Strong ability to think like both an attacker and a defender to drive improvements in prevention and response.
Responsibilities
- Deliver proactive, secure-by-default protections across the stack including cloud, CI/CD, applications, and endpoints.
- Provide practical security guidance on new products and technologies emphasizing secure patterns.
- Lead design reviews and threat modeling for high-impact features and services to identify and mitigate risks early.
- Build and scale security tooling that automates detection and response while preventing issues at deployment.
- Evolve detection and incident response capabilities, including tuning detections and implementing automated responders.
- Partner across business functions to strengthen company-wide security, including endpoint trust, identity, and compliance.
- Protect against abuse and bots at the edge and application layers.
- Lead and participate in security incidents and tabletops to improve runbooks and processes.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a positive, pragmatic security culture.
