Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, nursing, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in clinical operations, vendor management, or clinical trial start-up.
  • Prior vendor-facing experience within clinical trials.
  • Strong understanding of clinical protocols, trial execution, and start-up workflows.
  • Experience managing full-cycle vendor contracts from negotiation to termination.
  • Experience interacting with investigators, clinical staff, and site teams.
  • Proficiency with CTMS, clinical portals, and project tracking tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Review clinical protocols to determine vendor scope, requirements, and qualifications.
  • Conduct market research and lead RFP/RFQ processes for vendor selection.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate vendor contracts in coordination with legal and finance teams.
  • Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics, KPIs, and SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot vendor-related issues affecting clinical execution or study timelines.
  • Maintain vendor documentation, compliance records, and internal databases including SharePoint and Salesforce.
  • Develop tools, templates, and training materials to improve vendor onboarding and oversight.
