Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, nursing, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in clinical operations, vendor management, or clinical trial start-up.
- Prior vendor-facing experience within clinical trials.
- Strong understanding of clinical protocols, trial execution, and start-up workflows.
- Experience managing full-cycle vendor contracts from negotiation to termination.
- Experience interacting with investigators, clinical staff, and site teams.
- Proficiency with CTMS, clinical portals, and project tracking tools.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
Responsibilities
- Review clinical protocols to determine vendor scope, requirements, and qualifications.
- Conduct market research and lead RFP/RFQ processes for vendor selection.
- Draft, review, and negotiate vendor contracts in coordination with legal and finance teams.
- Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Troubleshoot vendor-related issues affecting clinical execution or study timelines.
- Maintain vendor documentation, compliance records, and internal databases including SharePoint and Salesforce.
- Develop tools, templates, and training materials to improve vendor onboarding and oversight.
