Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; MBA preferred.
- CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
- Strong experience managing global payroll and multi-entity accounting environments.
- Advanced knowledge of General Ledger, financial close processes, and GAAP-compliant reporting.
- Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition and billing systems.
- Hands-on experience with payroll/payment platforms like Bitwage, Wise, Deel, and Payoneer.
- Deep understanding of international payroll operations, contractor payments, and currency management.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive-level presentations.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Head of Finance to oversee all accounting functions and financial operations.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, reports, and internal controls.
- Oversee global payroll operations across multiple regions and manage platforms like Bitwage, Wise, Deel, and Payoneer.
- Manage end-to-end client invoicing processes, including billing accuracy, collections, and revenue tracking.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Establish and enforce accounting policies and internal controls in compliance with GAAP.
- Monitor and improve financial systems and automation to enhance efficiency.
- Provide financial insights and reports to support executive decision-making.
