Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Experience as a Chartered Accountant or holding certifications like GAAP, USGAAP, or CPA.
- Proven experience managing and developing professional accounting staff.
- Expertise in general ledger systems, chart of accounts, and financial reporting.
- Ability to manage complex month-end and year-end close processes.
- Capability to provide financial consultation and advice to internal clients.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the schedule.
- Fluency in English required for all application materials.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, planning, and consultation to ensure department resources align with operational priorities.
- Contribute to the administration of the annual budget and oversee departmental expenses.
- Select, manage, and develop assigned staff, including setting goals, coaching, and performance management.
- Lead professional staff in serving internal customers by providing financial reporting and procedural advice.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the general ledger system, chart of accounts, and functional allocations.
- Oversee the monthly and annual close processes, including the preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Manage the analysis of financial activity to identify and correct errors.
- Coordinate the preparation and distribution of financial statement reports for decision-making purposes.
