Requirements

  • 2–3+ years as a Sales Engineer in the 911 / public safety space OR a strong background working inside a dispatch center.
  • Deep understanding of dispatch operations, workflows, and the language of 911 centers.
  • Real 911/PSAP domain experience; genuine exposure to dispatch operations.
  • Technical aptitude with CAD, NG9-1-1, telephony/SIP, integrations, and security/CJIS.
  • Ability to articulate ROI, business outcomes, and capacity rather than just features.
  • Professional presence and composure when presenting to stakeholders.
  • Curiosity, coachability, and ability to function within a team selling motion.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 60–80% for site visits.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored AVA and CORA demos to PSAP leadership, IT, and dispatch staff.
  • Lead discovery on CAD environments, NG9-1-1 posture, telephony/SIP setup, call volume, and staffing.
  • Field technical questions and earn trust as the industry expert during the sales cycle.
  • Translate complex technology into clear operational value and ROI for emergency communications centers.
  • Travel 60–80% to run demos and meetings at customer and prospect sites.
  • Represent the company at public safety conferences, events, webinars, and industry working groups.
