Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role.
  • Experience in the sales, installation, and support of commercial security products (access control, alarm systems, video surveillance).
  • Proven history of increasing revenue, closing new accounts, and growing accounts.
  • Ability to sell concepts and value-added services.
  • Successful history of client and account management and business development.
  • Ability to meet heavy travel demands (approximately 50-75%).
  • Strong technical and computer skills and aptitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client presentation and training delivery.
  • Fluency in English (written and oral).
  • Security industry background and knowledge in IT Communications, CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Alarms.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, on-board, and develop new commercial dealers into the Alarm.com partner program.
  • Develop relationships with key individuals inside account base and investigate and resolve obstacles to dealer success.
  • Assist commercial dealers in presenting to large end user opportunities.
  • Initiate and execute on-site dealer product technical and sales training activities.
  • Develop relationships with industry partners and educate them on Alarm.com offerings.
  • Work in collaboration with Technical Account Managers to identify target dealers and coordinate sales and support efforts.
  • Attend industry association meetings and trade shows.
