Requirements

  • Two+ years of Business Development Management experience.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service for a technical product.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, with Salesforce preferred.
  • Experience in sales operations and/or marketing automation software.
  • Understanding of B2B software, Open Source software, and the developer product space.
  • Passion for technology and willingness to learn GitLab and Git.

Responsibilities

  • Train BDR team members to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities.
  • Coach BDR team members through recurring weekly 1:1 meetings to improve performance.
  • Manage hiring and onboarding for new BDR team members.
  • Collaborate with Events and Digital teams on field events and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to improve opportunity management and qualification processes.
  • Identify and develop key company accounts in coordination with Regional Sales Directors.
  • Work with Marketing and Product teams to create effective outbound messaging.
