Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in HR operations, business operations, strategy execution, or a Chief of Staff function.
  • Multi-country HR compliance experience across at least 3 jurisdictions.
  • Hands-on knowledge of statutory employment requirements, works council obligations, and country-specific policy management.
  • Proven experience managing HR system and vendor relationships, including holding vendors accountable to SLAs.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution and build governance frameworks in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence skills across Finance, IT, Legal, and business stakeholders.
  • Track record driving AI adoption, including hands-on use of agentic tools and automation workflows.
  • Strong executive communication skills with experience producing leadership materials and operational dashboards.
  • Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth B2B technology company (preferred).
  • Familiarity with HR technology ecosystems like Dayforce, Greenhouse, or BetterWorks (preferred).
  • Background in HR transformation or organizational effectiveness (preferred).
  • Experience with European employment law, including GDPR-adjacent HR data obligations (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the translation of People strategy into execution by building workstreams, governance frameworks, and accountability structures.
  • Manage HR technology stack, vendor relationships, and system performance with data-backed recommendations to the CPO.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational risks, dependencies, and blockers using AI-powered reporting tools.
  • Redesign and automate HR processes and workflows to improve efficiency and execution quality.
  • Drive the adoption and integration of AI-enabled tools and agentic workflows within the People function.
  • Oversee global HR compliance, including employment law and statutory requirements across the US, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Belgium, and India.
  • Partner with the Chief Legal Officer on works council obligations and employment law changes.
  • Maintain the global employee handbook and country-specific policies to ensure legal defensibility.
  • Lead internal compliance audits and proactive remediation efforts to ensure audit-readiness.
