Job Details

5+ years of experience building and operating large-scale, mission-critical distributed systems.
Strong programming experience in Golang or Python, with a focus on clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Proven experience designing and scaling API platforms and backend services in high-traffic environments.
Deep understanding of distributed system principles, including reliability, scalability, and performance optimization.
Experience with media delivery systems or optimizing content delivery pipelines is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
Ability to translate complex technical challenges into practical engineering solutions.
Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical leadership within a team environment.

Design and develop scalable backend services and API platforms that support listings, posts, comments, media, and other core data models.
Build and maintain highly reliable distributed systems capable of handling hundreds of thousands of requests per second with 99.999% availability.
Contribute to the evolution of a large-scale media delivery and optimization platform, improving performance and user experience globally.
Mentor and coach junior engineers, helping elevate code quality, system design capabilities, and engineering best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, roadmap priorities, and technical solutions for scaling core infrastructure.
Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability through testing, observability, and clean engineering practices.
Partner with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and optimize API and media delivery pipelines across the stack.
