Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
- Experience building internal developer platforms, infrastructure automation, or self-service tools.
- Professional experience safely applying AI to infrastructure and platform engineering projects.
- Strong cloud technology fundamentals with AWS and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Crossplane.
- Senior-level experience managing core service infrastructure (databases, caches, message queues).
- Experience with modern CI/CD tooling, trunk-based development, and canary releases.
- Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence, incident response, and system reliability.
- Ability to work in a high-speed scale-up environment with high autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain internal developer platforms including self-serve infrastructure and paved paths.
- Maintain and extend cloud infrastructure across AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Postgres, Redis, Kafka, and Elasticsearch.
- Develop automation tools primarily in Python and JS/TS using Terraform and Crossplane.
- Mentor interns and guide other engineers through documentation and knowledge-sharing.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to maintain production availability, reliability, and security.
- Shape the infrastructure roadmap through strategic contribution to objective setting and retrospectives.
