Requirements
- 5-8+ years in field marketing or a closely related role.
- Direct experience running trade shows and sponsored conferences: booth strategy and on-site execution.
- Experience with partner events and co-marketing: planning, running events with partners, and managing relationships.
- Experience building strategic business events in close partnership with Sales.
- Comfort owning budgets, vendors, contracts, and on-site logistics.
- Strong written communication skills for a remote, async environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage timelines and multiple priorities.
- Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and own projects end to end.
- Experience marketing to a technical or developer audience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own partner events and trade shows end to end, from planning through on-site execution and follow-up.
- Work with Sales to design and run strategic business events: executive dinners, roundtables, and small high-touch gatherings.
- Evaluate event opportunities and make the case for where time and budget go.
- Run sponsorships from contract to follow-up, including packages, deliverables, and internal coordination.
- Manage the operational backbone of each event: budgets, vendors, timelines, run-of-show docs, and staffing plans.
- Coordinate physical booth assets, shipping, print, signage, swag, and demos.
- Drive promotion and attendee communication, including registration and internal briefs.
- Track event performance against goals and turn results into reporting and program improvements.
- Build repeatable playbooks, templates, and processes to scale the event program.
