Requirements
- 5–7+ years of professional event management experience.
- Experience in corporate or financial service environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in event, conference, meeting, and production management.
- Proven experience managing senior-level clients.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
- Leadership, influencing, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and onsite management of events.
- Virtual event planning experience (Webex and Zoom experience is a plus).
- Experience with large and complex databases (Cvent preferred).
- Knowledge of venues and suppliers in key APAC cities.
Responsibilities
- Manage full life-cycle planning and execution of events in virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats.
- Handle financial management, including budget development, expense tracking, and post-event financial reporting.
- Source and negotiate with venues and suppliers, managing contracts throughout the event lifecycle.
- Coordinate all event logistics such as registration, transportation, accommodations, A/V, webcasts, and speaker management.
- Collaborate with internal partners across marketing, production, and technology teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Execute virtual events, including platform selection, timeline creation, and stakeholder communications.
- Travel domestically and internationally for site inspections and on-site event management.
- Conduct post-event debriefs and budget reconciliations to identify areas for improvement.
