Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting, or technical sales supporting manufacturing/industrial customers.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial operations (engineering, CI, production leadership) OR 5+ years selling technical solutions into manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, standardized work, and operational KPIs.
- Comfort engaging with AI-powered tools and articulating how AI features translate into operational value.
- Experience delivering customized product demonstrations and leading technical discussions with operational and IT stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear operational outcomes and business value.
- Strong communication skills with experience engaging site managers, CI leaders, IT teams, and C-suite executives.
- Experience contributing to Proof of Concepts (PoCs), solution design, or technical validation processes.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel within North America (up to 50%).
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders across manufacturing and industrial sectors, assessing their processes, pain points, and digital maturity.
- Lead consultative discovery conversations that connect operational challenges to Poka's connected worker capabilities and AI-driven insights.
- Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations that articulate business impact regarding waste reduction, standardized work, and training optimization.
- Architect solution frameworks for enterprise-level manufacturing environments, ensuring alignment with IT, OT, and operational requirements.
- Develop value narratives and business cases grounded in Lean, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence principles.
- Partner with the North American Sales team to support strategic deals, RFPs, PoCs, and executive presentations.
- Contribute operational expertise to the broader Solutions team to improve demo strategy and use-case positioning.
- Represent Poka at customer-facing events, site visits, and strategic workshops.
