Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, or technical sales role supporting manufacturing or industrial customers.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial operations (engineering, CI, production leadership, field operations), OR 5+ years selling or supporting technical solutions into manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, standardized work, and operational KPIs.
  • Comfort engaging with AI-powered tools and articulating their operational value on the frontline.
  • Experience delivering customized product demonstrations and leading technical discussions with operational and IT stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear operational outcomes and business value.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage site managers, CI leaders, IT teams, and C-suite executives.
  • Experience contributing to PoCs, solution design, or technical validation processes.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Willingness to travel within North America (up to 50%).

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders across manufacturing and industrial sectors to understand processes and digital maturity.
  • Lead consultative discovery conversations connecting operational challenges to connected worker capabilities and AI insights.
  • Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations articulating business impact like waste reduction and training optimization.
  • Architect solution frameworks for enterprise-level manufacturing environments aligned with IT, OT, and operational requirements.
  • Develop value narratives and business cases based on Lean, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Partner with the North American Sales team to support strategic deals, RFPs, PoCs, and executive presentations.
  • Contribute operational expertise to demo strategy and use-case positioning.
  • Represent Poka at customer-facing events, site visits, and strategic workshops.
