Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven track record of proactive business development.
- Experience managing large, complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Technical expertise in permitting for energy generation and infrastructure projects.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance.
- Ability to work with large project teams for public regulated utilities.
- Proficiency in environmental compliance management and permit application development.
- Strong technical writing, research, and communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to obtain necessary approvals to construct and operate energy generation and infrastructure projects.
- Foster client connections through existing relationships and proactive business development.
- Manage fast-paced projects with changing requirements while tracking milestones, schedule, and budget expectations.
- Lead the preparation, organization, and production of environmental compliance management plans and permit applications.
- Coordinate with clients, field personnel, and environmental resource specialists to implement permit conditions during construction.
- Provide QA/QC of work products and mentor team members in permitting and document preparation skills.
