Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in college counseling with a record of student success.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership or mentorship capacity.
- Proven ability to manage team performance toward quarterly and annual goals.
- Proficiency in managing employee capacity and sales/service matrices.
- Experience in data-driven decision-making and performance reviews.
- Strong communication skills with experience in public-facing webinars and presentations.
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana, AirTable, or Notion.
- Ability to create educational resources, templates, and guides for team use.
- Must be able to maintain a schedule with flexibility for some weekday evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Manage counselor performance outcomes, including capacity thresholds, sales targets, and milestone achievement.
- Conduct regular one-on-one sessions to discuss student progress, goals, and professional development.
- Maintain quality control by reviewing student college lists, essays, and academic plans.
- Lead counseling team calls, facilitate training/shadowing, and share industry best practices.
- Collaborate with sales teams to manage counselor availability and the sales/service matrix.
- Serve as a Senior College Coach, managing a personal student roster through the college application process.
- Develop and update counseling resources like handbooks, templates, and guides.
- Lead webinars and industry events to support client engagement and brand leadership.
