Experience: 3 - 5 years

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
3-5 years of dedicated process engineering experience in power generation or heavy energy systems.
Practical experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, and/or reciprocating engines.
Proficiency with Aspen HYSYS, HTRI, EDR, and Bluebeam.
Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid systems, and industrial plant utility dynamics.
Experience in industrial plants, utilities, large-scale EPC environments, or heavy infrastructure projects.
Safety-first mindset with experience supporting or facilitating HAZOP and LOPA studies.
Ability to travel up to 20% for site visits and project meetings.

Responsibilities

Develop and review comprehensive process designs for power generation systems including gas turbines, steam turbines, and reciprocating engines.
Analyze and validate PFDs, P&IDs, heat and mass balances, and complex equipment sizing calculations.
Support system integration covering fuel systems, cooling infrastructure, exhaust networks, and advanced emissions controls.
Analyze plant performance data to identify operational inefficiencies and maximize reliability.
Conduct heat rate analysis, efficiency studies, and structural operational benchmarking.
Participate in FEED, detailed design, commissioning, and multidisciplinary engineering workflows.
Facilitate HAZOP and LOPA studies to ensure project safety, operability, and maintainability.
