Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant Engineering, Survey, or Civil Construction industry experience.
- Strong project management fundamentals including scope, schedule, and fee management.
- Experience with site development, site civil design, utilities, civil construction, or survey.
- Proficiency in site civil engineering design, grading, stormwater management, and geotechnical assessment.
- Knowledge of environmental impacts, E&S control selection, and SWP3s.
- Understanding of permitting processes, particularly within the City of Columbus, Ohio.
- Ability to drive technical discussions, QA/QC engineering plans, and support continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with standard office software and Bluebeam.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally to field sites and client offices.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, supportive relationships, ensuring excellent client service and a collaborative team approach.
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal project teams, ensuring clear communication and expectations.
- Manage project financials, schedule, scope, QA/QC, and deliverables while resolving project issues.
- Apply a structured, step-by-step mindset to document and apply lessons for project success.
- Provide civil engineering technical guidance for rural and urban energy transmission projects.
- Oversee site civil design components including grading, stormwater management, and geotechnical assessment.
- Coordinate permitting activities and environmental compliance, including E&S control selection and SWP3s.
