Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience administering billing platforms such as Zuora, Stripe, or similar subscription billing systems.
- Strong understanding of subscription billing concepts including pricing models, invoicing, payments, and revenue recognition principles.
- Experience building and maintaining integrations between billing systems, Salesforce, and custom-built applications.
- Hands-on experience with middleware and automation tools such as Workato (or similar platforms like Zapier, Mulesoft, etc.).
- Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and data integration patterns.
- Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, solution design, and deployment to end users.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both business and technical teams.
- Experience supporting financial operations processes such as billing cycles, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Own the administration and optimization of billing systems (Zuora, Stripe), including product catalogs, pricing, subscriptions, invoicing, payments, and revenue workflows.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across billing platforms, supporting reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Manage system configurations, environments (dev/QA/UAT/prod), and user access to support cross-functional teams (Finance, Ops, Customer Success).
- Design and maintain integrations between billing systems, Salesforce, and internal tools, ensuring reliable and scalable data flows.
- Troubleshoot system and integration issues, monitor data syncs, and resolve discrepancies across platforms.
- Drive automation and process improvements using tools like Workato to streamline billing operations and the customer lifecycle.
- Partner with Engineering, Finance, and Operations to enhance systems, support data migrations, and implement scalable, compliant solutions.
