Proven track record of managing self-employed or independent sales agents.
Deep industry expertise in payments and Point of Sale (POS) solutions.
Established network of independent sales agents or consultants that can be brought into the role.
Strong coaching and leadership skills, with an ability to influence through expertise.
Proven experience personally closing complex deals and modeling consultative sales best practices.
Analytical capabilities to interpret performance data and translate insights into strategy.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust with independent contractors.
Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Comfort with ambiguity and entrepreneurial drive to scale a regional operation.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a network of self-employed Independent Consultants across your region, providing ongoing coaching, training, and field support.
Work in the field regularly to accompany consultants on sales calls, model consultative selling techniques, and help close complex or high-value deals.
Leverage an established network of independent sales agents to build and scale the regional team.
Drive seller acquisition across the SMB market, promoting payments, POS, online tools, and business management solutions.
Develop and execute a regional sales plan while tracking performance and adjusting tactics based on market feedback.
Analyze sales performance using data and conversion metrics to identify coaching opportunities.
Provide reliable forecasts and performance updates to leadership.
Capture market intelligence from consultants and prospects to inform regional strategy.
