  • Deep industry expertise in payments and Point of Sale (POS) solutions.
  • Established network of independent sales agents or consultants that can be brought into the role.
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills, with an ability to influence through expertise.
  • Proven experience personally closing complex deals and modeling consultative sales best practices.
  • Analytical capabilities to interpret performance data and translate insights into strategy.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust with independent contractors.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and entrepreneurial drive to scale a regional operation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a network of self-employed Independent Consultants across your region, providing ongoing coaching, training, and field support.
  • Work in the field regularly to accompany consultants on sales calls, model consultative selling techniques, and help close complex or high-value deals.
  • Leverage an established network of independent sales agents to build and scale the regional team.
  • Drive seller acquisition across the SMB market, promoting payments, POS, online tools, and business management solutions.
  • Develop and execute a regional sales plan while tracking performance and adjusting tactics based on market feedback.
  • Analyze sales performance using data and conversion metrics to identify coaching opportunities.
  • Provide reliable forecasts and performance updates to leadership.
  • Capture market intelligence from consultants and prospects to inform regional strategy.
