Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or billing operations.
- Demonstrated track record of reducing AR aging and improving collections rates.
- Experience managing diverse portfolios with complex internal approval and payment processes.
- Proficiency in NetSuite or comparable enterprise ERP for AR and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills to manage large volumes of open items.
- Ability to document billing disputes thoroughly for leadership review.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills for relationship-preserving collections.
Responsibilities
- Own accounts receivable aging across all active district accounts and produce weekly AR aging reports.
- Execute proactive collections outreach at 15, 30, and 45-day intervals.
- Escalate accounts exceeding 60 days past due to leadership with account history and recommendations.
- Serve as the point of intake for district billing inquiries and disputes, triaging within 24 hours.
- Facilitate payment onboarding including ACH, check processing, and portal configuration.
- Prepare documentation for legal escalations and identify potential bad debt write-offs.
- Monitor field trip and charter payment status against service authorization thresholds.
