Requirements
- Degree in an engineering or computer science field.
- 2+ years of work experience in data engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong experience in data modeling and data job development.
- Familiarity with technologies including Spark, dbt, Fivetran, and Airflow.
- Experience accessing an S3 data warehouse.
- Experience with AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) for testing and problem-solving.
- Ability to document effective prompts and build scalable, repeatable workflows.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally and gathering stakeholder input.
- Proficiency coding at a production level in Python and SQL.
- Proactive communication skills for managing complex problems.
Responsibilities
- Build large additions to the data engineering framework.
- Develop infrastructure that centralizes ETL logic and metric definitions.
- Design and build scalable data engineering solutions to solve business and data problems.
- Contribute to a culture of technical collaboration and scalable development.
- Provide ideas and direct team investments toward impactful, data-driven directions.
