Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; advanced business degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience, with at least 3 years in sales or field market access.
  • Experience in biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or medical device industries.
  • Expertise in complex distribution models, specifically Specialty Pharmacy, Buy & Bill, and direct distribution.
  • In-depth understanding of reimbursement and insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments.
  • Proven experience selling specialty products, particularly injectable or implantable technologies.
  • Successful track record of product launch in competitive environments.
  • Ability to travel regionally and nationally (up to 50-70% in some territories).
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a start-up environment.
  • Demonstrated accountability, business acumen, and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve planned sales and patient access objectives for assigned geography.
  • Deliver clinical product information and access-related guidance to HCPs in compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and execute territory plans based on analysis of regional payers, regulatory environments, and reimbursement patterns.
  • Engage with account personnel to assess needs, communicate solutions, and secure commitments.
  • Resolve and triage reimbursement issues to ensure patient access and optimize customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and maintain ongoing customer dialogues to adapt to market challenges.
  • Manage operational expenses within established fiscal controls.
