Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; advanced business degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience, with at least 3 years in sales or field market access.
- Experience in biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or medical device industries.
- Expertise in complex distribution models, specifically Specialty Pharmacy, Buy & Bill, and direct distribution.
- In-depth understanding of reimbursement and insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments.
- Proven experience selling specialty products, particularly injectable or implantable technologies.
- Successful track record of product launch in competitive environments.
- Ability to travel regionally and nationally (up to 50-70% in some territories).
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a start-up environment.
- Demonstrated accountability, business acumen, and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Achieve planned sales and patient access objectives for assigned geography.
- Deliver clinical product information and access-related guidance to HCPs in compliance with company policies.
- Develop and execute territory plans based on analysis of regional payers, regulatory environments, and reimbursement patterns.
- Engage with account personnel to assess needs, communicate solutions, and secure commitments.
- Resolve and triage reimbursement issues to ensure patient access and optimize customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and maintain ongoing customer dialogues to adapt to market challenges.
- Manage operational expenses within established fiscal controls.
