Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Engineering, Project Management, Sales, and/or Marketing.
  • Proven experience working with clients in the utilities and/or energy markets.
  • Strong understanding of customer and company organizational structure.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to determine when escalation is required.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and leadership abilities.
  • Strong customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to anticipate roadblocks and alert internal and external stakeholders appropriately.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% (domestic travel).

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage account strategies focused on growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate sales activities and manage resolution of customer problems.
  • Shape sales strategy by aligning customer business goals and objectives, prioritizing opportunities, and developing executive relationship strategies.
  • Set and drive achievement of sales targets, manage volume/mix/profitability, and implement recovery plans.
  • Serve as primary customer contact, lead negotiations, resolve claims, and collaborate with internal sales teams.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of customer drivers, competitive activity, and market trends.
