Requirements
- Experience designing digital products, ideally within fintech, banking, lending, payments, or similarly complex domains.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, interaction design excellence, and exceptional visual craft.
- Ability to connect customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints to create meaningful outcomes.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and independently driving work forward.
- Ability to simplify complexity without oversimplifying the problem.
- Experience using evidence and data to inform decisions while maintaining strong product intuition.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to influence decisions across different audiences.
- Ability to use AI as part of your workflow for learning, exploring, and prototyping.
- Experience in high-growth startup environments is a plus.
- Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design practices is a plus.
- Experience designing AI-powered products is a plus.
- Experience contributing to design systems or cross-product experiences at scale is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own complex product problems from discovery through delivery, helping define what we build, why it matters, and how success is measured.
- Design end-to-end journeys, workflows, interaction models, and high-fidelity experiences across web and mobile products.
- Prototype concepts early and often to explore ideas, align stakeholders, and accelerate learning.
- Translate complex financial concepts, workflows, and data into intuitive and scalable user experiences.
- Contribute to and evolve our design system, balancing consistency with thoughtful innovation.
- Collaborate closely with engineers throughout implementation to ensure quality and thoughtful execution.
- Challenge assumptions and help shape product decisions with a long-term platform mindset.
- Participate in design critiques and contribute to a culture of feedback, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Elevate design quality across teams through influence, mentorship, and strategic design leadership for staff-level roles.
