Requirements
- 3+ years of experience shipping production React and Node.js applications.
- Proven portfolio of shipped web apps with clear explanation of individual contributions.
- Real-world security experience including OAuth2, JWT, input validation, rate limiting, and encryption.
- Awareness of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and secure coding practices.
- Hands-on experience with OCR or document data extraction, preferably using Tesseract.
- Strong backend fundamentals including API design, PostgreSQL data modeling, and async job processing.
- Knowledge of scaling fundamentals such as Redis caching and queueing.
- Experience with Vercel, Railway, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Strong proficiency in written and verbal English.
Responsibilities
- Audit and lock down application security.
- Build an OCR pipeline to extract structured data from images and documents into a secure database.
- Refactor existing prototypes for scale and reliability without unnecessary rewrites.
- Maintain production applications through bug fixes and feature development.
- Design and implement scalable backend solutions.
